This Privacy Policy explains how Multiview Lab ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores, and deletes information when you use multiview (the "Service").

Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Account information, such as email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and account status.
• Project content, such as uploaded photos, generated 3D models, textures, thumbnails, previews, camera pose files, prompts, and auxiliary project files.
• Project metadata, such as project names, image counts, upload status, reconstruction status, timestamps, storage size, and usage/quota information.
• Device and technical information, such as app version, device type, operating system, IP address, crash data, diagnostics, logs, and security events.
• Support information, such as messages, screenshots, files, or other information you provide when asking for help.
• Payment information if paid features are introduced later.

The app uses camera and photo access so you can capture or select object photos for 3D reconstruction. Photos are uploaded only when you add them to a project or start a reconstruction workflow, and they are used for source images, thumbnails, project previews, object isolation, generated 3D outputs, and related support or security purposes.

We do not intentionally collect precise location unless a feature clearly requests it. Uploaded photos may contain embedded metadata, including camera or location metadata depending on your device, camera settings, and source files. This metadata may be stored or transmitted as part of the uploaded image file, but we do not use embedded photo metadata to track your location.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage accounts.
• Provide authentication and account security.
• Upload, store, process, and display project content.
• Generate 3D models and related output files.
• Send photos, project files, prompts, generated artifacts, and auxiliary files to third-party cloud inference service providers, including Modal, when needed to generate models, isolate objects, prepare outputs, debug failed jobs, secure the Service, or support user requests.
• Run third-party model materials from providers such as Meta to perform reconstruction, segmentation, object isolation, and related processing.
• Maintain private projects and user-selected sharing features.
• Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
• Debug, monitor, secure, and improve the Service.
• Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, security incidents, policy violations, and unlawful activity.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your uploaded photos, private 3D models, or private auxiliary project files to train AI or machine learning models unless you separately opt in.

User content is not transmitted to model licensors (such as Meta or Hugging Face). Model materials are downloaded and run only within our selected cloud infrastructure providers.

Private Content Review

We do not routinely review private project content. We may access or review private project content when necessary to provide support, operate and secure the Service, investigate abuse, respond to legal requests, comply with law, or enforce our Terms of Service.

Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with:

• Service providers that host, store, process, monitor, secure, or support the Service.
• Crash reporting, security, support, email, or payment providers where applicable.
• Legal, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities when required or appropriate under applicable law.
• Other users or third parties when you choose to share a project, model, preview, or export.
• Successors or affiliates in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Current service providers include Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication, database, storage, hosting, and cloud functions; Modal for cloud GPU/container inference and reconstruction processing; and Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics. When an error occurs, Sentry may receive your user ID, email address, and display name for error context and debugging purposes.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain accounts, support user requests, secure the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain appropriate business records.

When you delete a project or account, active content is deleted or scheduled for deletion. Some information may remain for limited periods in backups, logs, abuse records, billing records, legal compliance archives, or records needed for security and enforcement.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States and Germany, where our cloud infrastructure and service providers operate. When personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on standard contractual clauses and other lawful transfer mechanisms where required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes materially affect how we process information, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
